Determining real estate market values in areas like Montecito, Santa Barbara, Hope Ranch and Carpinteria is sometimes even difficult for those of us with years of experience. Here micro climates can change within a few blocks, views run the gamut from non-existent to hold-on-to-the-railing spectacular, and building quality and architectural styling have a wide range of application. The size of a property is frequently one of the least important criteria and it’s often ignored in the pursuit of either location or quality of construction. It tends to be a very subjective science. But with all that said, I frequently go through our inventory and try to bring to your attention homes that I feel demonstrate better than typical value regardless of which broker or agent may be representing them.
